Qualification Requirements
Applicants should: hold a first degree, min 2ii, in a related subject (e.g. childhood and youth studies, social sciences, psychology, law or education) OR hold a first degree, min 2ii in an unrelated subject, plus at least two years’ professional experience of work with children and/or young people OR as mature applicants without a degree, have at least two years’ professional experience of work with children and/or young people. For those whose first language is not English or Welsh, the minimum English language requirement is: IELTS: 6.5 (with no individual score lower than 6.0); Pearson PTE: 62 (with no individual score lower than 58); Cambridge English Test – Advanced: 176 (with no individual score lower than 169). TOEFL 85 Overall.
