The demand for Environmental Scientists has never been greater across industries, governments, and communities. Our Environmental Science (with Foundation Year) program integrates knowledge from diverse disciplines to tackle critical environmental challenges like climate change, pollution, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable food systems. This four-year integrated course combines a foundational year with a three-year honors degree, offering a comprehensive introduction to university-level science education. The program equips students with essential academic skills, subject knowledge, and confidence for degree-level study. The Foundation Year pathway is particularly suitable for applicants who narrowly miss standard entry requirements or would benefit from additional preparatory study in scientific disciplines.Upon successfully completing the Foundation Year, students advance to Year 1 of the Environmental Science degree. At Bangor University, you'll learn from dedicated faculty members while benefiting from our extensive support services and campus facilities.
