You'll explore audio-visual production, print journalism, digital media, and media practices while building essential skills for creating and analyzing multimedia content. The drama component covers diverse areas like playwriting, directing, devised theater, arts management, acting techniques, and both solo and ensemble performances. The curriculum delivers comprehensive training in theoretical knowledge, technical abilities, and practical competencies needed for professional careers. At Bangor, Media and Drama studies allow you to merge theoretical learning with creative production opportunities, working both independently and collaboratively. Our experienced faculty will help you maximize your creative potential while providing thorough training in performance, direction, production, writing, and theatrical creation. Bangor hosts numerous Creative Industry events, including conferences and workshops, and regularly welcomes visiting professionals from writing, filmmaking, journalism, design, theater, and digital media fields, encouraging students to pursue creative passions beyond formal studies. Placement Year and International Experience Year options are available.
