Biomedical science delves into human, animal, and microbial health, illness, and aging processes. Doctoral students are invited to participate actively in the School's research network, focusing on cancer biology, cardiovascular disorders, microbiology, and molecular biology. This field examines disease progression across various scales - from molecular interactions to whole-body systems. As part of the Biomedical Research Group, you'll investigate cellular and molecular foundations of conditions like arthritis, cancer, blood disorders, inflammation, blood clots, tumor development, vascular damage, and diabetes. Our research extends to G-protein receptor pathways and studying bacterial antibiotic resistance, pathogenicity, and evolutionary patterns.
