Pursue an accredited Masters program in dramatherapy with professional training. Acquire hands-on experience through clinical placements, qualifying you to practice as an arts therapist both in the UK and internationally. Learn at our renowned Cambridge-based center for music and dramatherapy, while tapping into our global network of professional arts therapists.

Our team of active dramatherapy practitioners and researchers will guide you throughout the program. You'll explore cutting-edge dramatherapy methods for working with both adult and child populations.

This HCPC-accredited MA Dramatherapy program enables graduates to register with the Health & Care Professions Council - an essential step for practicing as a dramatherapist in the UK. During this intensive two-year course, you'll examine diverse dramatherapy methods through lectures, workshops, case studies, theoretical exploration, and clinical practice.

The curriculum covers multiple dramatherapy techniques, emphasizing therapeutic theater, storytelling applications, projective methods, and improvisational approaches. Central to the training are the therapeutic relationship's psychodynamic aspects and its intercultural dimensions.

Our immersive teaching approach emphasizes purposeful application of drama, creativity, and imagination for therapeutic outcomes while connecting theory to practice. Through regular experiential groups and supervision sessions, you'll reflect on clinical work and your professional development as a dramatherapist.
