If the surgical setting excites you, this degree is your perfect match. Right from the start, you'll gain experience in actual operating theaters, through placements, and in realistic simulation labs, developing the expertise required for a thriving career as an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP). Graduates can explore diverse specialties, ranging from anesthesia to intensive care and more. With our program meeting Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) standards, you'll be fully prepared to launch your ODP career immediately.

96 UCAS Tariff points from a minimum of 2 A Levels (or equivalent).
3 GCSEs at grade C, or grade 4, or above, including English and Maths.
If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 7.0 ( Academic level), or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University.
UCAS Tariff points acquired from BTEC Level 3 Diplomas are accepted.
UCAS Tariff points from Access to HE Diplomas are accepted.
International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum of 24 points is accepted.
