Our BA (Hons) Music Production program provides access to industry-standard recording, mixing, editing, and production tools, helping you develop professional production skills while enhancing your critical listening abilities and understanding of music production history.
Several modules are shared with our other music programs, offering opportunities to collaborate with peers and build essential professional skills like teamwork and time management. You'll also work alongside film and game design students, composing soundtracks for their projects. In your second year, you'll expand your knowledge of the music industry by completing a placement in your area of interest, while also refining your self-assessment and employability skills.
Customize your studies with optional modules tailored to your career path. Choose Audio for Film or Audio for Games to specialize in production sound recording, sound design, or niche skills like ADR and interactive audio production. You can even take a placement year between years 2 and 3 to gain a competitive edge in the creative industry.
