Our BA (Hons) Fashion Design program empowers you to develop a unique design identity, focusing on either menswear or womenswear. From the very beginning, you'll gain practical experience by crafting original fashion pieces and exploring every stage of the design process in our studios - from sketching and traditional pattern-making to experimental draping, textile work, and digital tools. The curriculum covers cutting-edge topics like 3D digital fashion innovation, modern styling techniques, promotional strategies, and creative direction. Starting in your first year, you'll participate in real-world industry projects across various market segments while learning sustainable practices that prepare you to become an eco-conscious fashion professional.
You'll collaborate extensively with peers from our creative network, including fashion students across different levels, photography majors, and film students to produce striking portfolio content. A key advantage is the dedicated attention you'll receive from our expert faculty - including practicing technical instructors and lecturers with experience at renowned brands like Chloe, Alexander McQueen, Warner Bros Records, London Records, and Heavy Jeans (Portugal), along with active researchers in the field.

Qualification Requirements
96 UCAS Tariff points from a minimum of 2 A Levels (or equivalent level 3 qualifications), including Art, Design or Media subjects.
3 GCSEs at grade C, or grade 4, or above, including English.
You will be asked to provide a digital portfolio for review and will be given the option to book a meeting to discuss this with us.
If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.0 (Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University.
You may also be accepted to this course with an IELTS 5.5 (Academic level- with no individual score being lower than 5.5) or equivalent English Language qualification as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University, but will then be required to undertake additional compulsory free English language modules in your first year.

UCAS Tariff points from Access to HE Diplomas are accepted.
International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum of 24 points is accepted, this must include a related subject.
