The MRes in Animal Science offers you the chance to conduct specialized research while completing coursework across key animal science disciplines including reproduction, anatomy, immunology, grassland science, nutrition, animal production, and genetics. This unique program combines research-based degree requirements with structured learning in diverse animal science topics. With strong emphasis on research methodology, the MRes serves as excellent preparation for doctoral studies in animal, veterinary, or biological sciences, as well as careers in research and development.
Guided by experienced researchers in the field, you'll undertake a year-long investigation focused on animal science topics such as production, reproduction, parasitology, nutrition, cognition, or behavior. The program provides comprehensive training in experimental design, analytical methods, statistical evaluation, and data interpretation under expert supervision.

Qualification Requirements
Entry Requirements 2:2 Bachelors (Honours) degree in a relevant subject area or equivalent. Subject to agreement with project supervisor. Non-graduates will be considered individually based on relevant work experience. Applicants are encouraged to submit an up-to-date CV as part of their application. Candidates need to have an 6.5 with minimum 5.5 in each component. TOFEL: 93 with minimum component scores: Reading 18, Listening 17, Speaking 20, Writing 17.
