Our Biomedical Science program is delivered by leading specialists across both UK and Dubai campuses, encompassing all key areas of biomedical science. Students begin with a comprehensive curriculum during their first two years in Dubai before completing their final year at our Birmingham campus in the UK. The BSc Biomedical Science degree investigates human biology and the origins of diseases affecting humanity. Offered at both our Dubai and UK locations, this extensive program examines bodily systems from whole-organism level down to cellular and molecular processes. The curriculum is regularly revised to incorporate cutting-edge advancements in the discipline. Regardless of whether you're studying in Dubai for your initial years or Birmingham for your final year, you'll be taught by researchers conducting groundbreaking scientific and medical investigations.
Our hybrid learning model, providing access to facilities in both Dubai and the UK, enables students to work in advanced laboratories and understand how research leads to clinical innovations. The program covers developing fields like stem cell treatments while also examining significant conditions including cancer, heart disease, and arthritis. Students benefit from virtual lectures by Birmingham faculty members before joining them in person during the final year to utilize the University's operational research laboratories.

General Studies:
Not accepted as part of the minimum 3 A Level subjects.
BTEC Extended Diploma, Diploma and Subsidiary Diploma are not accepted.
Offers are not made on the basis of tariff points. General Studies and Critical Thinking are not accepted as part of the minimum of three A level subjects.

International Baccalaureate Diploma: Overall score of 32 points, with minimum grades of 6, 6, 5 in higher level subjects, to include at least two sciences (from Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics Maths Studies is excluded).
TOEFL 88 overall with no less than 21 in Reading, 20 in Listening, 22 in Speaking and 21 in Writing. IELTS 6.5 overall with no less than 6.0 in any band.
