The BEng Electronic Engineering program is designed to cultivate skilled and proficient Electronic Engineers who can effectively address the challenges and leverage opportunities in modern industrial and commercial environments. Throughout the course, students will progressively build and refine their core electronics design skills. This curriculum delves into the foundational concepts behind designing and implementing current analogue and digital systems, which are essential across various problem-solving contexts, while offering hands-on experience in bringing these systems to life. Graduates can pursue roles such as Design Engineers, CAD Technicians, or Electrical Engineers, with opportunities spanning electronics, automotive, IT, telecommunications, manufacturing, and other sectors.
The program empowers students to expand their knowledge of Mathematics and Sciences while honing practical abilities, including: operating laboratory and testing equipment; constructing models and prototypes of engineering systems; programming; employing mathematical techniques, computer simulations, and scientific methodologies to tackle engineering design challenges; and successfully implementing solutions to meet industry demands for qualified electronics professionals.
