Emerging technologies like quantum computing, blockchain, and data analytics are reshaping global economies, and we're preparing you to lead this transformation. Our program cultivates adaptable, creative software experts with diverse skill sets. The initial term concentrates on building core technical competencies, covering programming fundamentals, object-oriented principles, and essential algorithms. You'll collaborate on team-based product development, merging technical expertise with crucial communication and teamwork abilities. The second term immerses you in advanced topics including data analysis, blockchain systems (encompassing digital currencies and tokenomics), cloud security protocols, and smart transportation technologies like IoT, Computer Vision, and Machine Learning. The concluding term integrates all learning through a comprehensive capstone research initiative.
Every applicant of the Masters programme must be approved for admission by the Faculty Lead. To be considered you must
Hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, physics, mathematics, business, or related disciplines; OR an acceptable equivalent qualification from a recognized university (or similar) overseas, AND
Have substantial knowledge on programming, preferably in C++/Java/Python; or passing a free online bridging course* offered by Yoobee. OR
Alternative entry criteria: 2-3 years Diploma programme in related study areas with 3-4 years working experience in software developing. Alternative entry criteria (approval case by case by Head of Faculty)
Students who have English as a second language must demonstrate a level of English language competency equivalent to IELTS 6.5 (Academic) with no band less than 6.0.
