At Wintec, students pursuing a Bachelor of Communication will master storytelling techniques by engaging in content production, campaign execution, and digital marketing within the communications field. From the outset, learners gain resources to establish a vibrant professional network, craft a digital showcase, and cultivate a distinctive personal brand - all providing a competitive edge in the job market. The curriculum strengthens writing abilities and communication competencies through both creative media studies and digital marketing fundamentals. Specialization occurs through project participation and elective selections, with advanced focus areas available in the final year. Third-year students select between two specialization tracks: Creative Media or Digital Marketing. Notably, Wintec stands alone among New Zealand institutions by offering concurrent enrollment in the New Zealand Diploma of Journalism alongside this degree.
