The Bachelor of Architectural Studies (BAS) is a three-year undergraduate program that equips you with essential knowledge and hands-on skills to launch your career in architecture, landscape architecture, or interior architecture.

During your first year, you'll collaborate with Building Science students, building a foundational understanding of built environment principles and theories.

Develop expertise across diverse subjects including design, technology, architectural history, environmental science, theory, and urban planning.

This comprehensive education will guide your decision when selecting a specialization at year's end. Options include Architecture, Architectural History and Theory, Interior Architecture, or Landscape Architecture. Master the application of architectural concepts to interior space design across various contexts. You'll examine how individuals perceive interiors through sensory experiences and implement architectural fundamentals in designing both commercial and residential interiors. Additionally, you'll hone your ability to convey creative concepts using multiple mediums for diverse clientele.

Successful completion of your general secondary education and successful completion of one year of undergraduate degree study at a recognised tertiary institution (min. GPA may be required)
Successful completion of the Victoria University of Wellington Foundation Studies Programme OR other recognised foundation programme
Achievement of the International Baccalaureate Diploma (min. 24 points) OR equivalent internationally recognised high school qualification
IELTS (Academic): minimum overall score of 6.0 with no sub-score below 5.5
TOEFL: minimum overall score of 80 (internet-based test)
EAP: minimum final scores of 4,4,4,3
