The Master of Philosophy is a one-year research-focused program where students conduct supervised studies examining important and meaningful topics.
This discipline delves into Pacific and Indigenous Studies, covering aspects like knowledge systems, language, cultural practices, political contexts, methodologies, and theoretical frameworks, while equipping learners with skills to analyze fresh perspectives on global understanding.
This degree consists of a research project in the form of a thesis, dissertation, substantial research or creative work.
A recognised bachelors degree with a B/B+ average, and a B/B+ average in a relevant subject (if required).
Some faculties/schools require an honours degree (to demonstrate research capacity). Where the above requirements are not met, further study in a lower level programme may be required first.
