This part-time 180-point master's program caters to professionals seeking to establish or advance their careers in educational leadership and administration, enabling them to create greater organizational impact.
The Master of Educational Management (MEdM) enhances your expertise in organizational transformation, business planning, financial evaluation, and personnel management within educational settings.
There's significant demand for graduates with specialized knowledge in both educational leadership and administration. For professionals transitioning from mid-level to senior positions, this qualification provides strong preparation for diverse career prospects.
You can complete this program part-time across three years (60 points annually) or full-time within 18 months. Many courses are available online, allowing students the convenience of remote learning.
The MEdM is collaboratively offered by the Division of Education and Waikato Management School, with instruction from field-experienced faculty members.
Participants will acquire skills and knowledge to:

Important note: This qualification does NOT provide the specialized research training needed for doctoral studies. Additional research methodology and postgraduate coursework would be necessary for admission to Master of Philosophy, Doctor of Education, or Doctor of Philosophy programs.
Candidates for the Degree must have
In exceptional circumstances, based on academic merit and relevant experience, candidates who do not meet the requirements of these regulations may be considered for admission.
Admission to the Degree may be subject to the completion of any qualifying papers the Academic Board may prescribe which must be completed either prior to or concurrently.
