Graduate certificates are designed to enhance your expertise in a field distinct from your initial degree's focus. Eligibility extends to those without prior degree experience, provided they show both interest in the subject and adequate academic potential. Opting for a graduate certificate allows for rapid professional skill-building in a specialized area. These certificates represent a condensed version of graduate diplomas, are undergraduate-level programs, and can typically be finished in one full-time trimester. The Graduate Certificate requires at least 60 credits at 100-level or higher, with 45 credits at 300-level or above from approved subjects, including a minimum of 45 credits from Schedule A. The program usually entails one trimester of full-time study (or longer if pursued part-time).
A recognised bachelors degree, or a qualification considered by the Academic Board to be equivalent.
If you don't meet these requirements, admission can be granted through other criteria. See full regulations in the University Calendar.
