The Master of Teaching and Learning (MTchgLn) offers specializations in Early Childhood, Primary, or Secondary Education. This rigorous, research-based postgraduate program typically takes one year of full-time study or equivalent part-time completion. Qualification Requirements

Admission to the programme shall be subject to the approval of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Humanities) on the advice of the Dean, College of Education, who must be satisfied that, in accordance with Section 224 of the Education and Training Act 2020, Section 255(5) (a) and (b), the applicant satisfies the minimum requirements for admission to an initial teacher education programme as specified by the relevant professional body.
Every applicant must have:
a degree (at Level 7 or above on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework) with an average grade of at least B in the final year major subject requirements for a bachelor's degree (requiring papers worth at least 360 points) or in the course components for a postgraduate qualification, or,
alternative qualifications or experience acceptable to the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Humanities).
IELTS- overall score of 7.0 with minimum Listening - 7.0, Reading - 7.0, Writing - 7.0, Speaking - 7.0)
TOEFL Internet-based test (IBT) - overall score 98 with minimum (Listening - 24, Reading - 24, Writing - 27, Speaking - 23).
