Bachelor's Degree
This interdisciplinary course covers plant physiology, biochemistry, and molecular biology. It combines the specialized knowledge of plant researchers from both the Botany and Biochemistry departments, preparing students to understand plant structure and function while equipping them with contemporary molecular and biochemical methods for modifying agriculturally significant plants.
Students pursuing the degree through coursework and a thesis typically complete their studies in two to three years of full-time equivalent study. Those opting for thesis-only completion generally finish within one to two years of full-time equivalent study. Any deviations from these timelines require approval from the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Sciences).
