This one-year program equips accounting and finance students with sophisticated financial and analytical capabilities. The Master of Accounting and Finance (MAccFin) welcomes high-achieving graduates holding bachelor's degrees in Accountancy and Finance, or Accountancy majors with Finance minors. This postgraduate year serves as valuable preparation for Chartered Accountancy pathways, positioning graduates for professional opportunities in taxation, auditing, consultancy, transaction services, risk management, and actuarial fields.

Qualification Requirements

Admission to the programme shall be subject to the approval of the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Commerce).
Every applicant must either
be a graduate with a Bachelor's degree majoring in Accounting with a second major or minor in Finance, and normally have achieved an average grade of B in the papers satisfying the final-year major subject requirements for the degree, or
have equivalent alternative qualifications or experience acceptable to the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Commerce).
In considering an applicant's qualifications, regard will be given to the detail of the course of study followed to gain the qualification, as well as the applicant's performance in the programme.

IELTS (Academic) - Overall score of 6.5, no individual band below 6.0.
TOEFL iBT - Overall score of 90 and a writing score of 21.
