Biblical Studies examines scriptural texts within their historical settings and explores methods of interpretation. The curriculum separates into Old Testament (Tanakh or Hebrew Bible) and New Testament courses. Students may additionally pursue advanced study of biblical languages, including Classical Hebrew and New Testament Greek.
