Anthropology has been offered as a BA major since 1966. This three-year program typically involves completing nine anthropology papers out of the 20 required for a Bachelor of Arts degree. Graduate students can pursue a one-year Bachelor of Arts (Honours) or Postgraduate Diploma in Arts after finishing their BA. Students not majoring in Anthropology can still take anthropology courses as electives or complete a minor by taking at least five anthropology papers.
