Speech-language pathologists are experts trained in understanding human communication, its development, and the various challenges faced by both children and adults.

These specialists assist in educational settings, helping young learners who struggle with communication and learning. They support those with stuttering, autism spectrum disorders, or voice-related conditions.

Additionally, speech-language pathologists provide care for premature infants and rehabilitative services for adults whose communication or swallowing abilities have been affected by strokes, neurological diseases, traumatic brain injuries, or cancer treatments.

Qualification Requirements

You will need to have a Bachelor of Science, or equivalent, or be otherwise qualified for entry to the postgraduate study in your chosen subject as specified in the Regulations for the Postgraduate Diploma in Science or the Regulations for the Bachelor of Science with Honours. You may be required to first complete a preparatory programme in this case.

IELTS: An average score of 6.5, with a minimum of 6.0 in reading, writing, listening and speaking
TOEFL iBT :Total minimum score of 90, minimum score of 19 in reading, writing and listening
