This professional program is designed to prepare future leaders from diverse sectors with the essential skills, knowledge, and qualities to support the goals of Iwi Maori and other indigenous communities, whether in social, cultural, environmental, political, or business settings.

Those who complete this program will be well-prepared to strengthen leadership within organizations that collaborate with Maori, including Iwi, Maori entities, government agencies, community groups, and private enterprises.

Graduates will be equipped to thoughtfully address and promote Maori objectives in their leadership roles. They will demonstrate the competencies required to drive and manage change within Maori and indigenous environments.

Qualification Requirements

The Master of Mori and Indigenous Leadership (MMIL) is open to:
graduates of any bachelor's degree with at least a B Grade Point Average in 60 points at 300-level, and who have at least three years professional experience in the Mori sector, or
applicants without an undergraduate degree (or equivalent qualification), but have qualified for the Postgraduate Certificate in Mori and Indigenous Leadership.

IELTS: An average score of 6.5, with a minimum of 6.0 in reading, writing, listening and speaking
TOEFL iBT :Total minimum score of 90, minimum score of 19 in reading, writing and listening
