The University of Canterbury's Master of Hōaka Pounamu Maori Bilingual and Immersion Teaching and Learning (MHP) offers educators, administrators, and scholars an exceptional opportunity to enhance te reo Maori proficiency across diverse educational environments. Qualification Requirements

To enrol in the MHP, you will need to have either:
an Aotearoa teaching degree
any bachelor's degree with a major in Education or related subject, with at least a B Grade Average
a three-year diploma in Early Childhood, Primary, or Secondary Teaching
equivalent study from other approved degrees.

IELTS: An average score of 6.5, with a minimum of 6.0 in reading, writing, listening and speaking
TOEFL iBT :Total minimum score of 90, minimum score of 19 in reading, writing and listening
