The Master of Fine Arts (MFA) offers a growth pathway for students pursuing careers as professional artists, scholars, designers, filmmakers, or photographers. This graduate program fosters creative exploration of contemporary trends, personal concept development, and public presentation skills. Te Kura Kōwaiwai Ilam School of Fine Arts facilitates exhibition opportunities through its partnership with Te Puna o Waiwhetū Christchurch Art Gallery. The program includes an artist residency initiative and regularly hosts international artists who mentor postgraduate students.
