The Graduate Certificate in Laws (GradCertLaws) from UC enhances your foundational legal education by expanding expertise in focused legal domains, including international criminal justice, Tikanga Māori principles, Intellectual Property regulations, and other specialized fields. This program also serves international law graduates and practicing professionals seeking to fulfill the educational criteria for practicing as Barristers and Solicitors before New Zealand's High Court.
For entry to the Graduate Certificate in Laws, you will need to have previously completed either a Bachelor of Laws from an Aotearoa New Zealand university (or equivalent from overseas), or any other bachelor's degree plus at least three years of work experience in a related field.
