You can maintain your professional commitments while learning or immerse yourself completely to advance more rapidly. With year-round enrollment opportunities, the LLM gives you the freedom to fast-track your career progression. Students also have the option to incorporate interdisciplinary learning by selecting one or two master's courses (maximum 30 credits) from other University of Auckland faculties. The program includes essential legal research methodology training for those needing to develop these crucial skills. Choose from more than 30 specialized courses to focus on specific legal fields or explore diverse legal topics. The LLM can be completed through coursework, research projects, or a blend of both approaches. This advanced program enables deeper examination of legal subjects beyond undergraduate levels, featuring both intensive legal analysis courses and policy-focused offerings. Every course incorporates substantial research elements, typically culminating in a 12,500-word research paper for 30-credit classes.
