Designed for practicing healthcare professionals and graduates with applicable bachelor's degrees interested in advanced health science education. This Postgraduate Diploma in Health Science offers comprehensive coverage across multiple health disciplines. Students can opt for a general curriculum or focus on a specific specialization. The program requires one year of full-time commitment or can be completed part-time over four years. Choose either the broad health sciences pathway or select from our available specialized tracks. Specifically, the PGDipHSc Medical Imaging track caters to medical imaging technologists (MITs) aiming to deepen their imaging knowledge and enhance clinical healthcare through applied expertise in medical imaging services.
You must have completed an undergraduate degree at a recognised university (or similar institution) in a health-related discipline such as health sciences, medicine, nursing, optometry, pharmacy, psychology, or social work. You will need a Grade Point Average (GPA) or Grade Point Equivalent (GPE) of at least 2.5. You must be a health professional currently working in these service areas.
You must have completed an undergraduate degree in medical imaging (or similar) at a recognised university (or similar institution) and have registration with the Medical Radiation Technologists Board.
English language requirements:
IELTS (Academic): Overall score of 6.5 and no bands less than 6.0; Internet-based TOEFL (iBT): Overall score of 90 and written score of 21; Paper-based TOEFL: Overall score of 68 and a writing score of 21; Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) or Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE): Overall score of 176 and no bands below 169; Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: Overall score of 58 and no PTE Communicative score below 50; Foundation Certificate in English for Academic Purposes (FCertEAP): Grade of B-; Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB): 85.
