Designed for current healthcare practitioners and individuals holding a relevant bachelor's degree who seek advanced education in health-related disciplines. The Postgraduate Diploma in Health Science provides comprehensive coverage of diverse health science topics. Students can opt for a general curriculum or focus on a specific specialization. The program requires one year of full-time commitment or can be completed part-time over four years. Participants may select either a general health sciences postgraduate diploma or one of our specialized tracks. The Digital Health specialization within the Postgraduate Diploma in Health Sciences (PGDipHSc) is administered by the School of Population Health.
You must have completed an undergraduate degree at a recognised university (or similar institution) in a health-related discipline such as health sciences, medicine, nursing, optometry, pharmacy, psychology, or social work. You will need a Grade Point Average (GPA) or Grade Point Equivalent (GPE) of at least 2.5.
Further programme requirements: you must have a background in computer science, or an undergraduate degree in health sciences from a recognised university (or similar institution).
English language requirements:
IELTS (Academic): Overall score of 6.5 and no bands less than 6.0; Internet-based TOEFL (iBT): Overall score of 90 and written score of 21; Paper-based TOEFL: Overall score of 68 and a writing score of 21; Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) or Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE): Overall score of 176 and no bands below 169; Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: Overall score of 58 and no PTE Communicative score below 50; Foundation Certificate in English for Academic Purposes (FCertEAP): Grade of B-; Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB): 85.
