This interdisciplinary certification allows professionals to specialize in stroke patient care across the continuum - from emergency response through community reintegration. Students will develop skills to implement current interprofessional stroke care theories and practices throughout all phases of treatment. The program offers hands-on training in applying clinical guidelines and evidence-based knowledge to develop culturally appropriate, realistic solutions for challenges encountered by stroke survivors and their families. Participants will gain insight into systemic factors contributing to disparities in stroke care experiences and health outcomes.
