This two-year (240 point) Master of Nursing Science program accelerates your path to a master's degree and qualification as a registered nurse in New Zealand. Designed to address New Zealand's healthcare workforce demands for additional nurses, the program maintains rigorous training standards. For the first time, the University of Auckland allows entry into Nursing at the master's level without requiring a BNurs degree. If you hold a bachelor's degree in Health Science (BHSc) or Science (BSc) with Physiology and Psychology coursework, explore the diverse opportunities a nursing career presents. The Master of Nursing Science opens doors to professional growth and leadership roles, with graduates frequently entering healthcare consulting, research, and specialized nursing positions. Please note: The University of Auckland does not participate in graduate employment and cannot ensure post-qualification registration or job placement in New Zealand or elsewhere.
