The Master of Science (MSc) program allows you to delve deeper into your preferred subject area while engaging in independent research projects. Pursuing an MSc offers dedicated scientists the chance to specialize in a meaningful discipline and obtain an advanced degree. While coursework-based master's programs deliver specialized instruction in your selected field, research-focused programs cultivate high-level investigative abilities through collaboration with Faculty of Science academics - numerous of whom are leading experts in their domains. As scientific understanding and technical capabilities expand, so too does the sophistication and significance of forensic evidence presented in legal proceedings. The Forensic Science curriculum is collaboratively administered by the University of Auckland and the Institute of Environmental Science and Research (ESR), New Zealand's primary forensic service provider for law enforcement. Participants gain insights from distinguished guest speakers, such as Crown Prosecutors and independent forensic experts.
