The MLitt serves as an alternative to a PhD for those who already hold a master's degree and wish to pursue an extensive research project. Available across most disciplines within the Faculty of Arts (subject to approval and supervisory availability), the MLitt allows you to either deepen your expertise in your current field or explore a completely new research area. This qualification can enhance various academic or professional paths, particularly for those not pursuing doctoral studies. Mathematics can be pursued as a postgraduate specialization through either the Faculty of Science or Faculty of Arts programs. Advanced study in Mathematics expands your expertise across wider and more advanced topics in Applied Mathematics, Pure Mathematics, or Mathematics Education.
