The MLitt serves as an alternative to a PhD for those holding a master's degree who wish to undertake a significant research endeavor. Available across most disciplines within the Faculty of Arts (pending approval and supervisory availability), this program lets you deepen expertise in your current field or venture into new research areas. Particularly valuable for academic or professional advancement without committing to doctoral studies, the MLitt offers versatile opportunities. English postgraduate studies enable you to follow your passions through coursework, enhance methodological expertise, and conduct specialized research in literature, drama, theater studies, cultural theory, or creative writing. The program encourages examining connections between literature, art, and various critical and creative approaches.
