The Master of Global Studies program is tailored for individuals who have earned either a Bachelor of Global Studies or a Bachelor of Arts/Science with a relevant specialization. This curriculum immerses students in pressing worldwide challenges, including human rights, environmental conservation, international commerce, Indigenous and Pacific concerns, and cultural sectors. Key themes covered span globalization and its critiques, economic disparities, transnational dynamics, workforce globalization, gender equality, ecological preservation, healthcare systems, fundamental rights, societal transformation, and Indigenous self-determination. Participants will cultivate practical expertise applicable across diverse industries, academic fields, or sectors influencing global affairs. The program fosters inventive approaches, collaborative problem-solving techniques, and partnership skills to meet actual organizational requirements. Alternatively, prospective students might consider the 120-credit Postgraduate Diploma in Global Studies launching in 2022 as a potential pathway into this advanced degree.
