A BHScLLB(Hons) combined degree enables you to earn both a BHSc and LLB(Hons) more efficiently, requiring less time and fewer credits than pursuing the degrees individually. Researchers are investigating and tackling modern societal issues, while contemporary legislators create frameworks for emerging scientific fields like climate policy, genetic engineering, biotech regulations, and beyond. With rapid advancements constantly expanding our knowledge, there's growing need for legal experts with scientific literacy – and researchers who understand the legal dimensions of their work. Graduates with a BScLLB(Hons) dual degree possess unique qualifications for diverse careers bridging science and law. The University of Auckland Law School's honors program carries significant prestige. Beyond the core competencies developed through the LLB curriculum, honors students cultivate superior research and writing abilities, enhancing their qualifications for policy analysis and research-oriented positions. For students with scientific aptitude, this combined degree provides a pathway to specialize in emerging legal fields like environmental regulation, patent law, or scientific policy, particularly in biotechnology, digital innovation, or forensic applications.

Mathematics explores numerical patterns, algebraic structures, functional analysis, and spatial configurations. This discipline presents multiple dimensions – it can be rigorous, influential, intellectually stimulating, sometimes enigmatic, but fundamentally practical. Mathematical principles underpin advancements across life sciences, computing, physics, economics, and finance, while also finding applications in communication theory, language studies, and genomic research.
