A BALLB(Hons) combined degree enables you to earn both a BA and LLB(Hons) more efficiently than pursuing them individually. This program cultivates critical abilities that prepare graduates to succeed in our rapidly evolving, interconnected world. The legal education component equips students with versatile competencies valued across diverse professions, both within and outside the legal field. You'll have the opportunity to pair your law studies with various disciplines from arts, social sciences, cultural studies, and languages. The BALLB(Hons) program fosters transferable skills applicable to numerous career paths, providing both legal expertise and an understanding of justice and civic duty. Our alumni practice law globally, adapting to emerging opportunities created by societal, technological, and commercial advancements.
Criminology extends beyond criminal acts. Pursuing a Bachelor of Arts with a Criminology major allows you to examine broader influences on justice systems and punishment, including: Correctional systems Substance abuse and violence Media representations of crime The program investigates how social, economic, cultural, political, and legal factors shape criminal behavior and society's responses at local and global levels. Criminology can be taken as one of two BA majors (double major), requiring completion of at least 120 points (eight courses) per major, including 45 points (three courses) at Stage III level.
