This integrated research program is open to medical students who have finished at least three years of their MBChB degree and achieved a B average or higher in their MBChB Part III courses. It offers a distinctive chance to conduct original research while developing specialized expertise in a specific medical science area. The program serves as a stepping stone for those aiming to pursue advanced degrees like master's or PhD programs, while also expanding future career and academic opportunities. Designed for students considering postgraduate education at the master's or doctoral level, we note that the University of Auckland does not participate in graduate hiring and cannot ensure professional registration or job placement in New Zealand or elsewhere.
