Select from courses covering various themes, cultures, regions, and historical periods. Study options include New Zealand's past, Māori and Indigenous histories, European developments, American narratives, and the chronicles of Asia, Australia, and the Pacific. You'll acquire both historical knowledge and methodological skills: critical analysis, creative interpretation, and the ability to investigate, evaluate, and present historical data. History can serve as one of your two BA majors (a double major), requiring completion of at least 120 points (eight courses) per major, including 45 points (three courses) at Stage III level.
