The BABCom conjoint program allows you to blend core business studies with diverse subjects from humanities, social sciences, cultures, and languages. This combination equips you with vital skills to navigate and succeed in our rapidly evolving global economy. Your acquired expertise will open doors to various career paths and work environments. Typically completed in four years, this program lets you select up to two majors for the BA portion, with four to five BA courses annually. Additionally, you may opt for up to two modules. The BCom component begins with seven mandatory Stage I courses before specializing in your chosen major(s).

This degree cultivates valuable professional competencies including sophisticated communication abilities, analytical and innovative thinking, research proficiency, problem-solving skills, adaptability, and multicultural awareness. You'll gain competitive advantages to capitalize on emerging opportunities across evolving societal, technological, and business landscapes.

The curriculum offers diverse courses spanning different themes, cultures, regions, and historical periods - from New Zealand and Indigenous histories to European, American, Asian, Australian, and Pacific studies. You'll develop both historical knowledge and transferable skills: critical analysis, creative thought, research methods, and information interpretation. History can serve as one of your two BA majors (double major option), requiring completion of at least 120 points (eight courses) per major, including 45 points (three courses) at Stage III.
