You can enrich your legal education by exploring various disciplines in humanities, social sciences, cultural studies, and languages. The BALLB(Hons) program fosters valuable competencies for numerous career paths. You'll gain legal expertise, understand its societal impact, and develop a strong sense of justice and civic duty. Our alumni practice law throughout New Zealand and internationally, embracing emerging opportunities created by societal, technological, and business advancements.
Mathematics can serve as one of your two BA majors (forming a double major). Ideal pairings with Mathematics include Philosophy or Logic and Computation. For broader academic diversity, your second major could be any other BA discipline like Sociology or History. Each major requires completing at least 120 points (eight courses), including a minimum of 45 points (three courses) at Stage III level.
