Our BABE(Hons) program equips you with the abilities to succeed in a rapidly evolving, interconnected world economy. This five-year course integrates academic learning with hands-on experience, enabling you to enhance your technical expertise with versatile skills and analytical capabilities crucial for addressing intricate challenges. You can pair any of our nine engineering concentrations with diverse offerings in arts, social sciences, cultural studies, and languages. The distinctive competencies acquired through BABE(Hons) will position you advantageously to capitalize on emerging prospects arising from societal, technological, and commercial advancements. Every Engineering specialization is approved by Engineering New Zealand, ensuring international recognition of this qualification.
Mathematics can serve as one of your two BA concentrations (a dual major). Suitable BA pairings with Mathematics include Philosophy or Logic and Computation. To broaden your academic scope, you might select an additional major from other BA disciplines like Sociology or History. Successful completion requires passing a minimum of 120 points (eight courses) for each major, including at least 45 points (three courses) at the advanced level.
