A combined BABHSc degree enables you to earn both a BA and BHSc faster than pursuing them individually. This interdisciplinary program explores biological, social, and behavioral community factors, emphasizing health determinants, promotion strategies, disease prevention, healthcare systems, and policy. Discover how to implement fundamental health promotion and prevention concepts to address community health issues while selecting from diverse humanities, social sciences, culture, and language courses. The BABHSc provides comprehensive non-clinical training for various health sector careers, including health education, community health initiatives, counseling services, and healthcare system design. Please note the University of Auckland doesn't oversee graduate employment and cannot ensure professional registration or job opportunities in New Zealand or internationally.
Mathematics can serve as one of your two BA majors (forming a double major). Ideal BA pairings with Mathematics include Philosophy or Logic and Computation. To broaden your academic scope, you could select a secondary major from other BA disciplines like Sociology or History. Completion requires passing minimum 120 points (eight courses) per major, with at least 45 points (three courses) at Stage III level.
