You may pursue either a Bachelor of Arts in Economics or a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics (possibly combined with another relevant major). Introductory courses cover fundamental microeconomic and macroeconomic principles. Microeconomics examines how individuals and businesses make choices, focusing on pricing mechanisms and market distribution. Macroeconomics analyzes whole-economy phenomena like employment levels and currency values. Both disciplines explore the relationship between government policies and market results.
