The BALLB conjoint program enables you to earn both a BA and LLB degree faster and with fewer credit requirements than pursuing them individually. This combined degree equips you with crucial skills to succeed in our rapidly evolving, interconnected world. By studying Law, you'll gain versatile abilities that meet the rigorous demands of diverse career paths, both within and beyond the legal field. Your legal education can be enriched by pairing it with various humanities, social sciences, cultural studies, or language subjects. The BALLB program fosters valuable competencies for numerous professions, cultivating legal knowledge, ethical awareness, and civic responsibility. Our alumni practice law across New Zealand and internationally while embracing emerging opportunities created by societal, technological, and business transformations.
Mathematics can serve as one of your two BA majors (forming a double major). Ideal pairings with Mathematics include Philosophy or Logic and Computation. For greater academic diversity, your second major could be selected from any other BA discipline, such as Sociology or History. Each major requires completion of at least 120 points (eight courses), including a minimum of 45 points (three courses) at Stage III level.
