A combined BABHSc degree enables you to earn both a BA and BHSc faster than pursuing them individually. This interdisciplinary program explores biological, social, and behavioral community factors, emphasizing health determinants, promotion strategies, disease prevention, healthcare systems, and policy. Discover how to implement fundamental health promotion and prevention concepts to address community health issues while selecting from diverse humanities, social sciences, culture, and language courses. The BABHSc provides comprehensive non-clinical training for various health sector roles, including health education, community wellness, counseling, and healthcare system design. Please note the University of Auckland doesn't oversee graduate employment and cannot ensure professional registration or job placement in New Zealand or internationally.

Japanese language instruction accommodates all skill levels, from beginners to advanced learners. Develop fluency to confidently communicate and comprehend native-level publications. Advanced students may study abroad in Japan. Cultural courses deepen understanding of Japan's social context, offering studies in literature, history, pop culture, media, or linguistics. Some courses integrate Japanese materials, simultaneously strengthening language abilities while exploring Japan's rich cultural heritage.
