Our BABE(Hons) program equips you with the abilities to succeed in a rapidly evolving global economy. This five-year course integrates academic knowledge with hands-on experience, enabling you to enhance your technical expertise with versatile skills and analytical thinking crucial for addressing intricate challenges. You can pair any of our nine engineering disciplines with diverse subjects from humanities, social sciences, cultures, and languages. The distinctive competencies acquired through BABE(Hons) will position you advantageously to capitalize on emerging prospects in societal, technological, and commercial advancements. All Engineering specializations are accredited by Engineering New Zealand, ensuring international recognition of this qualification.
Geography can be selected as one of your two BA majors (double major). Complementary BA majors to Geography include Politics and International Relations, Psychology, Anthropology, and Sociology. To broaden your academic scope, you could opt for a second major from other BA disciplines like Media, Film and Television, or English. Each major requires completion of at least 120 points (eight courses), including a minimum of 45 points (three courses) at Stage III level.
