A BALLB(Hons) combined degree enables you to earn both a BA and LLB(Hons) more efficiently than pursuing them individually. This program cultivates vital abilities that prepare students to succeed in our rapidly evolving, interconnected world. Law studies equip you with versatile skills applicable to diverse professions, both within and outside legal practice. You can enrich your legal education by exploring various disciplines in humanities, social sciences, cultures, and languages. The BALLB(Hons) program builds valuable competencies for numerous career paths, fostering legal expertise alongside social awareness and civic duty. Our alumni practice law across New Zealand and internationally, embracing emerging opportunities created by societal, technological, and commercial advancements.
Geography can serve as one of your two BA majors (a double major). Complementary BA majors to Geography include Political Science, Psychology, Anthropology, and Sociology. For greater academic diversity, your second major could be any other BA discipline, such as Communications, Film Studies, or Literature. Each major requires completing at least 120 points (eight courses), including a minimum of 45 points (three courses) at Stage III level.
