Through a BABCom conjoint degree, you can merge fundamental business studies with diverse humanities, social sciences, cultural studies, and language disciplines. This program equips you with vital competencies to navigate and excel in our rapidly evolving global economy. Your acquired expertise will open doors to various career paths and professional environments. Typically spanning four years, the BABCom allows you to select one or two majors for the BA portion, with four to five BA courses annually. Additionally, you may opt for up to two modules. The BCom component begins with seven mandatory Stage I courses before specializing in your chosen major(s). This dual-degree approach cultivates valuable career assets including sophisticated communication abilities, analytical and innovative problem-solving, research proficiency, adaptability, and multicultural awareness. You'll be ideally prepared to capitalize on emerging opportunities across evolving societal, technological, and commercial landscapes.
Taxation can be pursued as either a single major or paired with another BCom specialization (like Accounting or Finance). Alternatively, you can incorporate Taxation studies within a conjoint degree program, simultaneously working toward two qualifications. The curriculum covers: Financial and property legislation, Corporate law, Commercial agreements, Labor law, Financial reporting analysis, Public sector economics, Contemporary investment principles and strategies. Taxation also serves as an elective option in the Bachelor of Laws program, tailored for aspiring legal professionals focusing on tax specialization.
